On November 2, the academic annual meeting of National Clinical Research Center for Geriatric Diseases and 2019 International Geriatrics Summit opened solemnly in Beijing. Leaders from the Ministry of Science and Technology, National Health Commission, and Logistics Support Department of the Central Military Commission, academicians from CAS and CAE, prestigious experts and scholars in the field of Gerontology at home and abroad, more than 700 representatives from 112 collaborative units and over 130 medical institutions in China attended the summit, which was cosponsored by National Clinical Research Center for Geriatric Diseases of CPLAGH and Chinese Geriatrics Society, and organized by the Second Medical Center of CPLAGH.
