Under the guidance of Academician Xiaobing FU, Dr. Andong ZHAO and Dr. Hua QIN from the Research Center of Wound Repair and Tissue Regeneration of the Medical Innovation Research Division of CPLAGH led the team to make new progress in inducing goblet cell regeneration and simulating intestinal mucosal-microbial interactions.

The research results entitled Chemical conversion of human epidermal stem cells into intestinal goblet cells for modeling mucus-microbe interaction and therapy was published in the leading international journal Science Advances on April 14.
